Bike news

Fancy spending a four-figure sum on a bike for getting around town and then having three teeth snap off one of the gears (never heard of such a thing) between Tooting and Balham and, worse, the left pedal and crank fall off outside St James's Palace after repairs for the first mishap had allegedly been effected. Sir Compton would want the mechanics and sales staff to purge themselves with bicycle chains and make other forms of ritual abasement over several hours. Tut, tut, tut.
