Sir Compton has had a name check today in Iain Dale's Diary. Only a churl would complain about the misspelling of "Valance". Iain is a very nice chap - Sir Compton bumped into him a few months ago in town - and an eloquent spokesman for the blogosphere, his being one of the three big blogs that have more or less crossed over to become parts of the mainstream media. Political Betting and Guido are the others. Iain is required reading because he mixes amusing personal stuff with a good dose of political inside track.
Anyway, Sir Compton is very grateful, his traffic so far for today (11.30) nudging past 20 unique visitors. Woohoo! Only one of them came back. Damn! Better write some more fictionalised though highly salacious crap, possibly about PMQs.
