The Guardian reports that Mr Brown will deselect troughers in his party. Helpful, though the police may do the work for him in some cases. The point is, this goes further than Mr Cameron, who would do himself a lot of favours if he threw his troughers to the constituency parties. He is still ahead but needs to stay ahead on this one. A purge is what is needed.
